We loved staying here. The view must be the best of all the properties. It was clean, nicely decorated..the bed was so comfortable. It was beyond our expectations. The beach was great and we were lucky to have chairs furnished..and a cooler! Seemed anything we needed was right there. We left behind a bottle of laundry soap for future guests- being able to wash a load of clothes was convenient. Your recommendations for things to do and places to eat was helpful and the treats most welcome after a late flight in. We felt so at home here. We stayed a couple of days in Hana and although it was nice each day we both wished we would have stayed our whole trip at the Villas. The cost was very reasonable for what we got. Far nicer than higher cost resorts in our past travels. For double the cost, we had far less in Hana. The front desk staff were so friendly and we had a bonus Mai Tia evening with other guests. Being a photographer of sorts I had fun taking pictures of the pretty grounds, beach, birds and of course the amazing view from our room. The pool isn't real large but it was perfect for us as we don't like crowds. Location was convenient for touring the island. I could go on and on..but in a nut shell..wonderful place. Thanks for the extra touches and hospitality. If we ever return to Maui we wouldn't stay anywhere else. The book Maui Revealed is in the room..we bought our own..it tells how to get places.

Our family had an amazing vacation in this fabulous home! Top of the line furnishings, comfortable and BEAUTIFULLY decorated! And the huge top floor lanai has such an incredible view of the mountains and the ocean and is fully finished. We have stayed all over the world and we all agreed this has been our favorite home. We did not want to leave. Dan and Christine the owners, could not have been anymore hospitable and accommodating. We will be back! Truly a taste of Maui Aloha Spirit! Thank you Dan and Christine for your warmth and personal touches in creating this elegant space for many to enjoy!

Can't say enough good things about the condo or the hosts. We were very late in arriving and they were thoughtful enough to provide some lovely snacks for us. The Condo itself is completely new in every way. Great beds, great appliances and exceptional TV/Audio throughout. Would return to this property in a heartbeat. Wonderful location. Nice pool. Lovely beach. The overall complex is not new, but you would not know it from the unit. Enormous balconies and great views.

The penthouse was beautifully furnished with a large lanai and amazing views of the ocean and mountains. The penthouse had lots of extras to make your stay enjoyable. They provided chairs, body boards, snorkel gear and beach towels plus much more. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and there was plenty of room to hang out and enjoy the family. "At first we were a bit skeptical with the pictures of the views from the Condo. Let me tell you, they are NOT touched up at all, they are the real deal! You will fall asleep every night to the sound of the ocean and wake up to beautiful views every day! The location is great, you've got all of Kaanapali, Lahaina and Napili nearby and it's 45 -60 minutes to Kihei, Wailea or Kahului. There's the Kaanapali Trolley to get you around if you don't have a car. You can even walk to Black Rock or Duke's along the beach if you desire. The resort's pool and beach are great too - you are literally two minutes to the ocean from the condo. We rented a cabana on the beach - great way to while away the day! Looking forward to bringing my parents here for their milestone birthdays in a few years! The Condo is very nicely appointed with everything you'll need to enjoy your stay, from beach towels and coolers to huge TVs and comfy bedding. The condo has the nicest kitchen I've seen in any condo I've ever stayed in! The owners definitely take great pride in their property - so many condos seem to be decorated with leftovers, but not Hale Alii! We loved being on the 5th floor so we could leave the lanai open at night too. The owners are very responsive before, during and after our stay, responding to emails very quickly, and provide you with lots of good information for your stay. Rent Hale Alii - you won't be disappointed!"

We completly enjoyed our stay in unit 507. The owners have gone above and beyond providing everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked. Just buy your food and you are ready to cook if you wish. We found MKV to be the perfect size for us. Not too big and busy like some resorts but big enough to have wonderful amenities. Can't wait to come and stay again!

My husband and I recently spent a week here for our 1 year anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased! The condo is spacious and comfortable, with all the necessities available for use. We enjoyed the Maui sunsets each night from either the condo or the beach downstairs. In addition, the property itself was great. We found it to be very relaxing and beautiful, without all the hustle and bustle of the other resorts near by. The location is perfect, close to all the activities available in Lahaina, with access to the Beach Walk right outside the property. We will definitely be back!

The grounds are beautiful and the room was just perfect for our 7 day honeymoon. There were only two of us but you could probably comfortably fit 4. Dan and Christine thought of everything - the kitchen was stocked with all of the necessities for cooking. And the view is just amazing. It was a perfect honeymoon!

"What a wonderful place to stay! We had already been on Maui for almost a week and needed to check out of our condo at 11:00 am. Christine was kind enough to allow us to have an early check in so we weren't forced to wander around the island until check in time with our 4 and 6 year old in tow. Once we got to the unit, the view was simply breath taking! Dan and Christine had a welcome platter with a nice hand written note for us (including the kids) that included a fresh pineapple, chocolates and the most amazing banana bread (locally made!). The unit had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing (extra towels, beach towels, laundry baskets, condiments, pots, pans, the list goes on!). Our 6 and 4 year old had fun with the board games and there were lots of sand toys, boogie boards and floats for them to use at the beach. A HUGE plus when traveling with small children! The pool was incredibly relaxing and have the restaurant right on the property, next to the pool was so convenient. The kids loved playing shuffle board while waiting for their food. The beach was quiet, not overcrowded and perfect for swimming. Front desk and concierge staff was friendly and the store on the property was great! So nice to be able to just go downstairs and grab something quick as opposed to having to go the grocery store for something little! Not only did Dan and Christine allow us to check in early, they let us check out late (which was a Godsend!) Our flight wasn't scheduled to leave until 10:00 pm and we couldn't figure out what we were going to do all day (especially with the littles!) that wouldn't completely exhaust the kids by 3:00 pm. If you are looking for a place to stay with an amazing view, comfortable accommodations (the bed was amazingly comfortable), conveniently located and with hosts that are more than accommodating and filled with aloha, then this the perfect place for you!"

We had the pleasure of once again renting this condo from May 8-15.. This condo again blew away our expectations. We had such a good experience with this condo on our previous trip to Maui, we rented it again for mother's day.. Working with Dan and Christine is always seamless and Hassle Free.. I love this condo so much, this will be the place we will continue to come back to on our annual trips to Maui.. Plenty of restaurants near by and if you desire a night in, the condo is fully set up as well. MKV is a place to go and the location is second to none.. I am looking to going back again next year and have already starting planning making the trek to Maui and MKV.

"We can simply not say enough wonderful things regarding this property! I will start by saying that the owners are so accommodating and sweet. They left us a gift upon our arrival to congratulate us on our honeymoon and were more than willing to let us come early and check out late. Dan even called us over the phone after we landed to make sure we had directions to the property. Outstanding! Then we got to the property and were blown away. Before even entering the actual condo, we realized how great the resort was. It is small but perfect. VERY CLEAN. The pool is great. Always chairs available no matter what time of day. There is a restaurant on property right on the beach. It is tasty and relatively cheap compared to most places in Maui with a great happy hour (even available by the pool). The beach is beautiful, clean, as not overcrowded at all. Much different than a little south near Black Rock. This is a quick walk on the paved ""beach walk"" (maybe 7 mins) if you want to walk down to the area near Black Rock or just view over properties. There is also a complimentary trolley that arrives at the front of the hotel often and takes you around town (Whalers Village...etc). Then the condo... WHEW! It was fantastic. Super beautiful with views from both the living room and the bedroom. It is a corner unit so there are Windows on the side as well but that view isn't nearly as stunning. The kitchen was gorgeous. Really everything was. The patio is not really functional as it is too small but still enough room for stepping out and taking in the views (which are much closer than they appear in all the pictures I've seen!). The bed was comfy and the two bathrooms came in handy. Another perk was they had a plethora of beach amenities for our use in the condo. Beach chairs, a sun umbrella for the sand, snorkel goggles, a cooler...etc. We definitely felt like we got our money's worth. Again, the property was beautiful and aside from the additional resort fees you must pay upon check in, there were no surprises (although I think this is mentioned ahead of time but I couldn't remember). Can't wait to recommend this place to our family and friends and hopefully visit again soon! Thanks for everything :) We really enjoyed every bit of our stay at your place."

I am writing this review on our last night in this wonderful condo. Everything was amazing and comfortable for our family of four. The condo is completely and beautifully remodeled. The view is amazing! Beds were comfy and we enjoyed the state of the art entertainment system for watching movies. All beach toys, snorkel, boogie board, chairs and kitchenware were provided so we were able to cook meals at the condo and did not need to eat out as much. The pool area is very nice and the beach right in front of the condo is great for swimming and boogie boarding. Nice snorkeling beach is just a few minutes walk to the right. I really hope to stay in this condo again on our next trip to Maui.

very clean, interior new / current, location and view excellent. area shuttle service very convenient. grocery stores are very close. the unit does not have washer / dryer available, as most units with this price point. if we visit Maui again, we will look into availability of this unit.

"We stayed at Hale Aloha in April 2016. Dan and Christine were great hosts, and provided us great info before and during our stay. The unit was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 toddlers). The unit was clean, well furnished and comfortable. The appliances are new and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking, barbecuing and serving supplies. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and big. The bedroom was also big enough for a pack-and-play and for another kid to sleep on the floor. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with a nice shower. There was also a lot of closet space, and even some pool/beach toys and towels left over from previous guests. There was a nice patio with seating for a few people. The actual building itself (MKV) was also nice, with good customer service at the front desk. The pool and beach are a 60-second walk away, as is Castaway Cafe, which has good and cheap beach-style food. The location of MKV is really nice as it relates to the beachfront walking path and other resorts. Finally, there are cheap massages at the spa in the lobby which we highly recommend! Great stay, fair price and wonderful hospitality. We'll be back."

"We have rented from VRBO owners in various areas of the country and have stayed at several hotels and condos in the Kaanapali area. This condo had an amazing view, was incredibly clean and well stocked. I think the complex has the perfect amount of Aloha and with great snorkeling within a 5 minute walk on the beach to the north you can't go wrong. The owners were fabulous to work with and were attentive to any needs we had. I would definitely recommend staying here...I know we are already trying to figure out a return trip!"

"My husband and I had originally booked a different unit at the Villas through VRBO and for some unbeknownst reason, that owner cancelled our reservation the night before we were supposed to fly out!! We were scrambling to find something with only a few hours to spare... Dan was one of the owners we contacted to see if he had any openings. He was super quick to respond, very understanding of our situation, and accommodated our needs. The unit itself is beautifully furnished, very comfortable, and had an extremely well stocked kitchen! This unit is on a partial corner, letting in the morning sun, but shaded the rest of the day... keeping it cool and allowing wonderful ocean breezes to flow through. The bed was very comfy, shower was very nice, and we loved the flat screen tv for movie night. Thanks so much Dan! We'd love to return one day...."

We have been to Maui a number of times and have stayed in this general area on several occasions. This has to be my favorite of the lot (including some of the fancy hotel resorts along the beach walk). The unit is on the fifth floor in a building that is set back a bit from the beach. You look out over the pool area an lawns and onto the beach and ocean. Both the bedroom and the living room have full ocean-facing views. The living room is spacious and well-furnished with an excellent entertainment system. Wi-Fi is open and fast. The kitchen is fully equipped. In short everything you need for a great vacation. The complex itself is very nice Very well maintained with a nice pool and lawns with chairs from which you can watch the sun set over the ocean. It feels slightly lower key (in a good way) and less crowded than the brand-name resorts which are an easy walk away along the lovely beach walkway that runs for miles along the ocean. The restaurant on the property is good and handy for that Mai Tai in your deck chair from which we saw whales frolicking in the ocean. We had a minor issue with noise from an adjacent unit (a mechanical issue) which the owners took care of promptly. Really hard to know what more you could want. We will definitely be back. (We stayed over Christmas in 2015).

Dan and Christine were a pleasure to work with. The condo is nicely appointed, comfortable, and welcoming with fantastic views. The unit is equip with everything you need including beach supplies, which made our stay that much more enjoyable. We hope to return again soon.

"We had such a great time in this condo! It was nice, clean and had a breathtaking view. The kitchen was fully stocked with cook wear and even had some spices and condiments. They left a sweet gift basket with treats and a yummy pineapple! Our favorite thing would have to be the view, we had two children on the trip so we were in the room quiet a bit. It was nice to be in the room and still feel like your in Hawaii. At night with the sliders open we were able to hear the waves crashing on the shore, which was a nice treat! With the very short walk to the beach and the cast away restaurant, we had everything we needed right there. Whalers village was about a 15-20 minute walk (with slow children). There was also a rental hut right in front of the beach for snorkel gear, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks Dan & Christine."

This condo is even more fabulous than the photos suggest. Owners are in contact and very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again!!

We had the pleasure of renting this condo from Aug 13-19.. This condo blew away our expectations. From the moment you open the door, the condo is tastefully decorated and provide you with everything you would need.. The owners were gracious enough to leave a personalized card welcoming us into there home with some treats as well... Fully upgraded condo.. Kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil you would need. My wife enjoyed waking up and having her cup of coffee from the seating area on the lanai. The mattress in the bedroom was quite comfortable and the kids very much liked the sofa bed for sleeping comfort.. Opening the sliding glass doors, perfect ocean view.. Another great thing is the proximity to everything.. Restaurant down stairs, Black Rock a 15 minute walk and a 15 minute drive to Front Street.. I highly recommend this condo and will be back again next year with the family.. The owners were very nice and gave suggestions on some things to do locally.. You can't beat this condo.. Great atmosphere, extremely upgraded accommodations and its on a end unit overlooking the pool and the ocean.. Hearing the ocean waves crashing at night while sleeping.. Priceless..

My family and I had the pleasure of staying here for a week at the end of July. The home was wonderful. The views were amazing, the accommodations were private & comfortable, the decor was very tasteful, and the location was perfect for exploring both locally and venturing out. It was nice to have the option of a/c or opening the large window doors to let the breeze in. It was also nice to have ocean and pool access at our fingertips. The pool was not overly elaborate or crowded which was nice compared to some of the big resorts. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. This place definitely set a new standard for us using vrbo and we hope to return in the future.

This condo was wonderful! The view and surroundings were exquisite! The furnishings and decor were first class. It was well equipped with kitchen needs and beach gear. We loved the cross breeze provided by this corner unit. While not a two bedroom condo, it comfortably accommodated three young adult males (aged 18-25 years) and two middle aged parents (this coming from the only female in the group says a lot!). Having two bathrooms made it work. We will definitely return!

What a fantastic experience and location! The accommodations and views were so relaxing and beautiful. Everything was as described and the owners were very easy to communicate with. We saw sea turtles and swordfish right off the property and the coral reef was just steps to the north with all the snorkeling we needed. The pictures are great but the reality is even better, especially sunsets. Very relaxed feel on the property. Well appointed and comfortable furnishings with a kitchen with everything we needed, and a constantly amazing view. We have been to Flamenco Beach in Culebra, Puerto Rico and to Bermuda. We loved both. This was better and we hope to be back.
